PAMS – Payroll & Attendance Management Software is an electronic solution for the management of the employees of an organization. PAMS keeps track of employee records, details about leave, OT, Shift Information & W. Off etc., and also generates salary statements and pay slips for the employees. The software has many additional features like Loan Management, Absentee List reports, Leave Alerts for critical employees, Categorized Wages details and also generates many useful reports related to Personnel management.

PAMS is a client-server based database system developed using Microsoft Visual Basic tools to design, code, debug and tune the front-end application with Microsoft SQL Server as the back-end. It also has implemented Smart Card / RFID technology / Biometrics Identification technology to keep track of Attendance Management. Each employee will be provided with a ID card with a RFID Tag. When they enter the main gate, the Card Reader at the Entrance will register the time of entry and updates the attendance. Similarly when they leave the premises, the out time will be registered. The staffs are allowed to leave the premises during the break. During this time also the out time and the returning time will be registered. Every morning and afternoon, a list of absentees will be updated for the manager to then validate and make the necessary changes in the system.

PAMS can also be an effective computerized tool for any organization to help coordinate the important Personnel Management functions. The additional advantage of the package is its integration into the Financial Accounting system; the package can be used to generate financial reports including various Books, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statements, and Trial Balance.

Major Functional Features of PAMS :

User Manager & Logon Module with Smart Card / Biometrics Identification: Users can be created with different permission levels, and logging on will be based on passwords. Additional security and login checks are provided with provision to authenticate Secondary password or RFID / Smart Card / Biometrics Identification techniques for users to login and start using the software.

Employee Details: PAMS provides facility to enter and update the employee details both personal and official information, which include date of birth, contact details, date of joining, department, grade, shift details, weekly off, basic pay, DA and other allowances etc.

Attendance Register: PAMS can effectively handle Attendance tracking for employees. RFID reader / Biometrics Identification System will be used to capture the Time In and Time Out if all the employees are provided with RFID numbers and card readers will be placed at the exit and entry points.  If the employee is not physically present in the regular workplace but is on other assignments wherein swiping of cards is not possible, the software provides facility to manage the Attendance entries.

Shift Details: Software has provision to configure various shift details and also can keep track of the employee shifts.

Leave Details: Software has the capability to keep track of the leave taken by the employees. Provision to ensure the leave is sanctioned only on approval by competent authority. The software may be configured to raise alerts providing information when critical employees take leave

OT Details: Overtime details can be handled efficiently in PAMS . Software will be having provision to provide various modes of compensation for OT hours worked namely Compensatory Off, Extra wages along with salary, or Ignore Option

Loan Management: PAMS provides provision to manage loan facility offered to employees. Software has provision to configure various loan types, and stores the no of months required to   repay the loan, and recovers the loan through deduction from monthly salary.

Pay Slip Generation Facility : PAMS can generate monthly salary slips showing Earnings, Deductions, Gross, Total Deduction and Net Salary.

Financial Management Module:
