In the Healthcare industry, as in any other, reliable data gathering mechanisms are essential for the smooth running of the organization. i Care is an electronic solution for the management of a health care organization. i Care keeps track of patient records, lab reports, pharmacy records, inventory levels, prescriptions, drug interactions, financial information and much more. The information can be sent electronically to doctors, patients or insurance companies for speedier processing and resolution.

The whole gamut of activities associated with Patients, Doctors, Laboratory tests, billing etc has been very neatly handled in this software. Management of hospital stores and attached pharmacy has also been seamlessly incorporated in this software. Many useful reports are incorporated which provide the management with a complete picture of the performance level of the hospital and help identify the areas where there are lapses.

i Care is a complete multi-user client-server package that runs over the Local Area Network. This software was developed in Visual Basic for the front-end code, with the backend as Microsoft® SQL Sever connected using ODBC. The different modules can be interlinked to share the same information, and it can be up-scaled. It also has integrated Smart Card / RFID technology / Biometrics Identification technology, not only for the Patients but as well as for the Doctors and the Staff using the system.
